Music:
My favorite musician is the Korean Pop group BTS, or more formally known as Bulletproof Boyscouts. Korean pop is stereotyped as strange and having crazy music videos, but not much more so than American's cultural pop does. BTS has been active for many years, but is now making an impact in the USA as well due to their achievement of the Top Social Artist award in the AMV Award show. Their votes broke the chart records and won over Justin Bieber's 7 year streak of top social artist. Their music is influenced by Americans but still holds the properties of Korean pop to create their own unique style; this is shown by their inclusion of rap in their songs. Not only do they sing, BTS as well as most Korean Pop groups also dances which sets them apart from normal pop artists. With a total of male seven members, the Bulletproof Boyscouts are currently rising to the top and paving a path in music history that you should know about.
Fashion:
I don't have a particular style, but my favorite place to shop for clothing is Fashion Q. I don't follow models or fashion stylists but I admire many other girls for their clothing sense and having the confidence to pull off styles that I couldn't. My favorite thing to wear when I go out is a necklace. I find bracelets an obstacle to wear and I don't have many rings. A necklace is very simple and matches well with any outfit. The store isn't well suited for men but is an ideal place for girls to shop. It has a nice variety of clothing and sells accessories that match as well. It also has clothing that can be worn formally or casually.
Artist:
My favorite artist is named Yuu Kamiya, the creator of the successful anime No Game No Life. He's an amazing artist and is able to make his art "come to life" in a colorful and fantastic way. Kamiya's art involves a lot of color and his style creates a fantasy feel out of it. With this ability he was able to make the manga No Game No Life very successful and that manga was adapted into an anime and eventually a movie.
